Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by the Availabuddy team (a product of Spacers) to explain what we collect and how it's used. It's not a legal certification.
The short version
We only collect what we need to run the app: your email if you sign up, the groups and availability you create, and basic account info. We don't sell your data, we don't run ad trackers, and the only reason we'd ever email you outside of the app is account recovery.
What we collect
- Account info: your email address and a display name, if you sign up.
- Group data: group names, dates, availability, notes, reactions, and comments you create or that participants add.
- Participant emails: only if you or a participant enters one (used for group-code recovery and email invites you send).
- Subscription status: whether your account is on Free or Pro.
- Basic security logs: the app logs sign-ins and errors for a short period so we can debug problems.
What we don't collect
- No ad trackers, no fingerprinting, no third-party analytics cookies.
- No location data.
- No selling or sharing of your data with advertisers — ever.
How we use it
Your data is used to:
- Show you and your group members the polls, availability, and notes you've created.
- Send transactional emails you asked for — group code recovery, email invites, and (on Pro) reminders.
- Keep track of how many people have signed up and how many groups exist, so we can plan the product.
- Let you manage or delete your own groups.
Cookies and analytics
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary — mainly to keep you signed in. There's no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or similar third-party tracking on the site.
Who can see your data
- People you share a group code or invite with can see that group's contents.
- Our infrastructure providers (see the Data policy) process data on our behalf but don't use it for their own purposes.
- A small number of Availabuddy operators can access data when needed for support or debugging.
Your choices
- Access or delete your account: email support@availabuddy.app and we'll handle it.
- Delete a group: use the trash icon on the group page (removes it and all its content).
- Unsubscribe from emails: every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.
Retention
We keep your data as long as your account or groups exist. When you delete a group or account, its content is removed from our active database promptly and from backups within a reasonable window.
